How SpeedFreek RC became easier for families to find

Families looking for a Florida builder of custom fiberglass RC racing boats usually start on a phone, so the website is the front door.

Here is a plain-language look at the old front door and the new one, which offers a product-led store for hulls, assembled boats and parts.

A family searching back on February 9, 2011 would have found the archived SpeedFreek RC page shown here.

That earlier version, which carried the title “Home page”, was a stock Magento storefront template with a Home Page heading and sidebar boxes.

Now a parent or neighbor finds a product-led store for hulls, assembled boats and parts.

The screenshot shows what a family sees on the SpeedFreek RC homepage today.

A family deciding whether to call SpeedFreek RC wants answers quickly, and a clear site gives them that.
